Better2Earth is now part of the Business for Nature Community.
Because #natureiseveryonesbusiness we care about #Environmental, #Social, and #Business #sustainability

Healthy societies, resilient economies, and thriving businesses rely on nature, but the natural resources and ecosystems we all rely on are under huge strain; over half the world’s total GDP, $44 trillion of economic value, is moderately or highly exposed to risks from nature loss.
Business for Nature is a global coalition bringing together influential organizations and forward-thinking businesses.
Together, we demonstrate business action and amplify a powerful business voice calling for collective action including for governments to reverse nature loss in this decade. This community is inclusive and composed of:
-
A diverse and powerful group of organizations and networks working with businesses to reverse the loss of nature;
-
Forward-thinking businesses that have relevant commitments and that are acting to reduce their environmental impacts.
Nature is at a tipping point. The natural materials and ecosystems that power businesses, underpin economies, and support healthy societies are under huge strain.
Businesses have a big role to play in reversing nature loss. But businesses can only do so much on their own, and time is against us.
The widespread social and economic disruption caused by coronavirus risks pushing nature down the agenda.
Policymaking for the protection and restoration of nature has slowed at intergovernmental and national levels, and it will become harder for some businesses to prioritize investment in natural resources.
Yet, the Coronavirus crisis has also accelerated a rethink of what we want our economies and communities to be like in the future.
This is a defining moment where governments can support calls for a ‘green recovery’ and create more resilient economies and societies.
For that to happen, businesses and governments need to work together now to get the next 10 years right. Nature is everyone’s business.
